Our WECA Green Business Grant

MHI Secures WECA Green Business Grant to Power Sustainability with Solar Sense Installation.

MHI is proud to announce it has successfully received funding through the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) Green Business Grant, part of the region’s Low Carbon Business Support programme designed to help small and medium enterprises cut greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency.

The WECA Green Business Grant

The grant has enabled MHI to upgrade their existing solar panels, increasing their solar energy supply by more than double. This is a significant step forward in delivering on the company’s sustainability pledge and reducing its environmental footprint. In partnership with Solar Sense, the solar panel system has now been installed on MHI’s premises, generating clean energy and reducing reliance on grid-sourced electricity.

By embracing renewable energy, MHI is not only cutting its energy costs but also contributing to local and regional carbon reduction goals. “We are delighted to have secured WECA grant funding and work with Solar Sense to bring solar power to our site,” said Paul Brown, Co-founder and CEO at MHI.

“This investment directly supports our sustainability strategy and brings tangible environmental benefits to our business and the wider community.”
